#6--- ARJUN'S VERSION...

{ A DAY BEFORE SOMEONE CAME TO MEET AASHRITHA AT THE COLLEGE }

"May I get in , sir?", Arjun asked his HOD very politely.

"Ooh yes!! Sir, please do come in Mr.Youth Icon Arjun Sir."

"sir, you're flattering me"

"What brought you to this cabin sir?"

" Normally i don't even find you in your classroom, but today you have been waiting 
for as long as you wait for your fried rice in the canteen"

"sir actually I want you to grant me permission to take leave for a day sir. My 
brother is actually flying to New York tomorrow sir. So i need to be at home in 
the morning to bid him sendoff at the airport. My parents are out of station and 
I'm the only person at home who can help him out with all the packing and stuff and 
to drop him off at the airport."

"OK, I'll grant you leave and don't forget to attend the classes in the afternoon", his HOD gave him the usual routine permission to take leave for a half day.

(But Arjun was desperate for a full day leave , so he came up with another plan)

"But sir, the flight is at 2 PM and we should be there at the airport by 10:30 AM  in order to get the required immigration and other necessary checks to be completed. So i would definitely need a full day leave so that I won't send my brother with the thought that I had left him at the airport all alone."

(Now his HOD sir got melted and it was Arjun's time for celebration as and when he got out of the HOD cabin with the letter in his hand.)

(His friends were anxiously waiting as if they were sitting in front of their computer screens to check their results in the presence of their parents.When they finally saw the beaming HAPPY DENT white teeth of their friend,they got relieved and started praising their HOD as a GOD and the one who helps the students in all the circumstances and all blah... la... ah... h...

Nihal took Arjun aside and asked him " Are you going to CAFE DAY with Aashritha tomorrow? and How dare you idiot not take me over there?"

"hello boss !! what are you even talking? I am going bid  my brother FAREWELL at 
the airport. He's seriously leaving to NEW YORK and how in hell did you forget that, you bugger", replied Arjun furiously.

"Ooh yeah !! i forgot about that. I thought as you were busy talking about Aashritha all the time now-a-days. I thought you asked her out for a coffee"

"She's just a friend to me until now, don't take hasty decisions yourself and bug 

me about your feelings on Aashritha's good-looking friend. Tomorrow in the morning 

 I'll come to your house to pick you up and drop you at the BUS-STOP"

(For some reason or the other Nihal was not satisfied with Arjun's answer and his unusual behavior to pick him up at his home to drop off at the bus-stop. Nihal was full of doubt that Arjun might be in a plan to visit Aashritha's college to meet her and then take her out for a Coffee)

(The day dawned and the horn outside his house brought out a neatly dressed Nihal out of his home who later got onto Arjun's bike)

"So, You surely going to drop your brother at the airport?"

"If you are not so sure, then you too tag along with us to the airport dude. You and your silly DOUBTING THOMAS' questions"

(And so Arjun dropped Nihal at the bus-stop and also handed his notebooks over to him in order to be updated with the class)

(The moment he turned his back towards Nihal, he had a huge grin on his face and a cunning look, he felt like he succeeded)
